Butterflies symbolize so much; growth, hope, life changes or freedom. So many cultures see the delicate nature of butterflies as hidden strength as well.
Butterflies rest in stormy weather. Watching them dash from flower to flower evokes peace of heart and calms stormy minds. People even plant entire gardens just to welcome these amazing little creatures.
When I paint them they calm my mind, I am pulled to colours for them that inspire love and calm for my own self. I can picture them in my dreams floating above my head while they whisper encouraging words.
