Elephants are such an amazing creature. They are nurturing, grieve in obvious ways, thrive in a herd and can form long term relationships with human caregivers. This is my third canvas of an elephant and it’s my favourite for sure. When looking at the background you can even see some subtle elephant shapes in the mist.
This canvas measures 30x40. It fills up a wall very substantially. Layers of clay paint mixed with acrylic and metallic paint give the texture you can see.
